Wanted – Broken Volvo Exhaust Systems

Recently I've discovered, I love welding. I really like to weld clean steel, but I'll weld rusty metal if there's no clean steel around. Welding is, at worst, a challenge, at best, artistry. When welding is going perfectlywelding, it sounds like bacon frying in the pan, smells like Hamilton, and looks like the back of a long caterpillar.

Harry says that welding my boat trailer has become an obsession, and he may be right. Seeing as I'll never get paid to work on my boat trailer, bring me your broken exhaust hangers or whatever else you need welded and I'll give it a go! Most exhaust systems on Volvo cars from 1993 up to 2001 are made of an alloy that has great longevity, and can be repaired rather than replaced. Quite often, we find that the replacement exhaust parts are far inferior to the original exhaust systems. If you own a Volvo product 2003 or newer, you will likely not have to worry about repair or replace decisions. Volvo decided to re-engineer exhaust system corrosion back into your vehicle!  The newer systems are not using the alloys that were used in the more expensive, earlier exhaust systems.
